Matt Barnes on joining the Sacramento Sports Hall of Fame

ImageMatt Barnes, NBA analyst for NBC Sports and former Sacramento King, joined “The Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross” to talk about growing up in Sacramento and joining the Sacramento Sports Hall of Fame. By the end of his playing days at Del Campo High School, Barnes was an All-American, All-State, All-CIF, All-City and All-League player. The Sacramento native is known for his basketball game, he was also a football star. In his senior year, he recorded 58 receptions for 1,112 yards and 28 touchdowns as a receiver. After four seasons at UCLA, Matt Barnes would go on to play for nine NBA teams over a 14-year career. The three discuss growing up in Sacramento, what the Hall of Fame nod means to him, and what the Kings need for the second half of the season.
