Fans have continued to support Young and his family, as he is a beloved figure throughout the league. Young continues to shine as one of the NBA’s best shooters. He is averaging 24.4 points per game on the year and 10.2 assists. With Young continuing his strong play alongside an increasingly positive supporting cast, the Hawks look to be a strong contender in the Eastern Conference. They have made the playoffs for the past three seasons, making it to the Conference Finals in the 2020-2021 campaign. Something special has been brewing in Atlanta, a trend Young hopes to continue this year. Even if they finish the regular season with a positive record, they will have significant work to do given the competition within the conference.
