Keeping that in mind, many rumors about the future of Trae Young and Dejounte Murray have emerged in recent days. Speaking of Murray, the Los Angeles Lakers are rumored to trade for him around the NBA Trade Deadline. Murray was having a somewhat quieter season, and it dipped his value in the trade market. But Murray has found his form in recent games, including back-to-back game-winners in the regular season. Murray recently hit the dagger during the Atlanta Hawks’ recent game against the Miami Heat, and it resulted in some hilarious fan reactions on Twitter. Murray played 40 minutes against the Miami Heat and added 22 points, 3 rebounds, and 11 assists for the Hawks. Of course, his performance includes a sensation game-winner, which sealed the game for the Hawks at 109-108. For the season, Dejounte Murray is currently averaging 21.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game while shooting 46.9% from the field, 38.5% from the three-point line, and a solid 82.6% from the free-throw line. Despite having a great season for the Hawks, his numbers haven’t really benefitted the organization. After all, the Atlanta Hawks are currently the 10th seed in the Eastern Conference with an underwhelming 18-23 record this season.
