With less than a month to go for teams in the NBA to wheel and deal and be buyers or sellers at the trade deadline, rumors are starting to swirl, with a few notable players potentially being on the trade block. One of those notable names is one-time All-Star guard Dejounte Murray of the Atlanta Hawks, who was traded to the team two years ago by the San Antonio Spurs. The trade was thought to be a bold and slick move by the Hawks to bring in some more talent alongside superstar Trae Young in the backcourt, but after two years, things haven’t really worked out as planned, and it appears the team is content with trading him elsewhere. Apparently, there’s no shortage of interest in Murray’s services, with five teams rumored to be working the phones trying to acquire the 27-year-old guard, according to Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports via NBA Central. As for the Los Angeles Lakers, the team desperately needs a boost before losing their chance to be a force to be reckoned with for the playoffs, while the New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers, and Miami Heat look for more firepower to round out their rosters for the postseason.
