Bucks Reacts Survey Results: Fans mildly confident Bucks can pull it off

Image There’s a decent amount of optimism that Giannis will play too Earlier in the week, we had a Reacts addendum to our Tuesday Tracker (results of that will be up later today) with two broader questions about the series in the wake of Game 2. Now that Game 3 is about six hours away, let’s see how people are feeling... Image As you can see, a slim majority of respondents still think the Bucks will win the series despite a dispiriting fourth quarter that saw the Pacers run up the score on their way to a comfortable road W. There were a few fluky elements of each game that might not persist or be indicative of future results: poor Indy shooting in Game 1, Milwaukee going +21 while Damian Lillard sat in Game 1, insane Indy payoffs in Game 2 (38 of their 50 makes were assisted), etc. While it felt like Game 2 was something of a progression to the mean, I think of those aforementioned anomalies, Pacer shotmaking—particularly Pascal Siakam’s—is the one that could keep up. However, the Bucks could still win the series if a certain Greek were to return, which brings us to the next question. Image It’s now been just over two weeks since The Greek Freak last hit the court, and recent comments from Doc Rivers suggest he’s getting closer to a return. How close? It’s not clear, and Giannis still hasn’t practiced fully yet. Giannis remains listed as doubtful ahead of Game 3 today and we’ll probably get confirmation of whether or not he’ll go tonight in the press conference mid-afternoon. Stay tuned.
