Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports Bucks look to extend streak The Milwaukee Bucks are streaking and enjoying the comforts of home, with their penultimate game of the homestand facing the San Antonio Spurs. The Bucks have won four straight games and nine straight at Fiserv Forum. Where we are at This season, I have had the recurring bit that the Bucks beat teams by bashing them with a steel chair. The steel char is my symbol of the Bucks' superiority in offense. Sure, the other team will score around 110, but that doesn’t matter if the Bucks can drop about 130 consistently. We have seen them achieve this scoring feat both by shooting well from three, but also dominating points in the paint and the free throw line. The offense was Milwaukee’s downfall in the postseason during Mike Budenholzer’s tenure; I’m optimistic this will not be the case come playoff time. Unsurprisingly, Giannis Antetokounmpo won the Eastern Conference Player of the Week after a week that included setting franchise records for most points in a game and all-time rebounds. The Spurs are in the early stages of the rebuilding project. They did win the lottery, which allowed them to draft rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama. The season has been rough for Spurs fans, who have seen their team win only four games. San Antonio did win last Friday against the Los Angeles Lakers and snapped a but then lost 110-146 to the New Orleans Pelicans this past Sunday. Injury Report Jae Crowder is out for Milwaukee, and Malik Beasley is listed as probable. Unfortunately, rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama is out with an ankle injury. Player To Watch Andre Jackson Jr. is the future and the present. The rookie out of UConn has been a breath of fresh air for Bucks fans. His defense puts him possibly as the Bucks’ best perimeter defender; his tenacity can create offensive rebounds out of nothing. He is aware and intelligent in transition, shooting pretty well from the corner. There are suggestions that he should be the starting two-guard moving forward, even when Malik Beasley gets healthy, and it isn’t the most outlandish idea.
