PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia 76ers and the Boston Celtics entered their contest on Wednesday night playing terrific basketball. The Sixers entered on a five-game winning streak. Boston won its first five games before dropping its previous matchup. In a back-and-forth battle at the Wells Fargo Center, the Sixers made just enough plays to walk away with a 106-103 victory. Joel Embiid led Philadelphia with 27 points and 10 rebounds as he battled through a tough night against the physical Celtics. Tyrese Maxey added 25 points and nine rebounds with five assists. Tobias Harris had 17 points and nine rebounds, Kelly Oubre Jr. added 14 and eight rebounds and Paul Reed chipped in eight and four boards. Here are the player grades following the win:
