We will continually update the post throughout the offseason as moves are made. For more context, here is a breakdown of the Dodgers roster once their 2023 season ended in the NLDS, including free agents, pending club options, players under contract, those eligible for salary arbitration, plus all the players with between zero and three years of major league service time. We also covered every team transaction throughout the 2023 season as well. Note: On a mobile device, this table will show up best in landscape mode. Here are all the roster moves for the Dodgers this offseason. Click on each date for further information on each transaction: January 11: Michael Busch and Yency Almonte were traded to the Cubs for minor league pitcher Jackson Ferris and minor league outfielder Zehir Hope. January 7: Teoscar Hernández agreed to terms on a one-year, $23.5 million contract (not yet official). January 3: Bryan Hudson was traded to the Brewers for minor league pitcher Justin Chambers and a player to be named later or cash. December 27: Signed Yoshinobu Yamamoto to a 12-year, $325 million contract. December 27: Bryan Hudson was designated for assignment. December 16: Dodgers acquired Tyler Glasnow, Manuel Margot, and $2 million (up to possibly $4 million) from the Rays for Ryan Pepiot and Jonny DeLuca. Glasnow was signed for five years, $136.5 million as part of the deal. December 11: Shohei Ohtani signed a 10-year, $700 million contract. December 11: Joe Kelly signed a 1-year, $8 million contract. December 11: Victor González and Jorbit Vivas were traded to the Yankees for minor league shortstop Trey Sweeney. December 6: Jason Heyward signed a 1-year, $9 million contract. November 17: Yency Almonte signed a 1-year, $1.9 million contract, avoiding salary arbitration. November 16: Ricky Vanasco signed a 1-year, $900,000 deal. November 14: Nick Frasso, Landon Knack, and Hunter Feduccia were added to the 40-man roster. November 5: Dodgers declined Daniel Hudson’s 2024 club option worth $6.5 million. November 5: Dodgers declined Alex Reyes’ $3 million club option for 2024, instead paying a $100,000 million buyout. November 5: Dodgers declined Joe Kelly’s $9.5 million club option for 2024, instead paying a $1 million buyout. November 5: Dodgers exercised Blake Treinen’s 2024 club option, worth a reported $1 million. November 3: Dodgers declined Lance Lynn’s $18 million club option for 2024, instead paying a $1 million buyout. November 2: Max Muncy signed a 2-year, $24 million contract with a club option for 2026. November 2: Clayton Kershaw, J.D. Martinez, Amed Rosario, Jason Heyward, David Peralta, Kiké Hernández, Ryan Brasier, Shelby Miller, Kolten Wong, Jake Marisnick, Jimmy Nelson, and Julio Urías became free agents the day after the World Series ended.
